Children’s Creative Early Learning Center believes that early childhood is a wonderful time of Imagination and exploration. We offer a Certified Trained Teacher who is responsible  for the planning and instruction of the program.  To foster and develop this special time we look forward to making connections with you and your child. The Children’s Creative Early Learning Center Junior Kindergarten Program at Crescent Valley strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. We believe children learn best through meaningful play. Our play-based, child-centered program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help, and aesthetic areas for the total development of the child. We incorporate meaningful play to encourage curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image. We hope to help each child build a sense of curiosity and wonder for the world around them.

Starting your learning journey in Kindergarten is an exciting time for children and for their families and we welcome everyone to begin with us at Crescent Valley School. To ensure your child gets the best start in September, we have put together some information to help make your planning as smooth as possible. If you want to learn more, we invite you to call us at 1-780-865-2569. We would also be happy to arrange a personal tour of our Kindergarten classrooms with you and your child as we want you both to be as comfortable as possible. You will also find information below in regards to transportation and ideas to help you prepare your child for entering school.

We are also thrilled to offer a full five-day Kindergarten program at our school for those families wishing to place their child in a full-time program. Of course, we also offer the flexibility of shorter weeks if this is more suitable to meet the needs of your child. Depending on how comfortable your child’s transition to school is, you can always make the decision to increase the days later in the year. At Crescent Valley, we take pride in providing the best-individualized learning program to ensure educational success for every child.

We have also eliminated all school and transportation fees for our Kindergarten program. Classroom school supplies will be provided by the school although we do ask that children bring a pair of indoor shoes to help keep our school tidy. At registration, your child will become a Crescent Valley BEAR and you will  be given some supplies and resources to help your little one prepare for school in September. Don’t forget to have them decorate their lunch bag and put their name on the outside so they know which bag to bring home each day.

Welcome to Kindergarten – let’s get ready to learn together!

Sincerely,

Natalie Okoli, Kindergarten Teacher
